That dog got me so scared.  Just seeing it running down my road made me very scared.  The whole time we were watching it i thought it was going to sprint at my house and get in.  Once Atticus got there i wasn't so afraid for some reason.  I don't know why I just was, maybe it was because I looked at him as a brave guy.  Then when Heck got his gun and gave it to Atticus I wondered why he was giving it to him.  Everything went quiet when Atticus had the gun and I thought something would go wrong, but then BANG he shot it dead.  Why had Atticus never told me how good his shot was?
